Music Together of Peoria
Music Together is an internationally recognized early childhood music program for infants,
toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners, and the adults who love them. First offered to the public in 1987,
it pioneered the concept
of a research-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood music curriculum that strongly emphasizes and facilitates adult involvement. Music Together classes are based on the recognition that all children are musical.

Center Director & Teachers

"Nothing separates the generations more than music. By the time a child is eight or nine, he has developed a passion for his own music that is even stronger than his passions for procrastination and weird clothes."

- Bill Cosby -

The Music Together of Peoria team is passionate about music and the development of children.
They strive to create a fun, informal, social setting that spurs engagement and supports each child's musical development.

Music has always been a part of her life and she has a wide variety of experiences, ranging from singing at weddings to being the lead singer in a band. Shortly after she married her husband they formed a blues band and she has been performing throughout the area for over eight years. Her children have enjoyed Music Together classes from a young age and she is very excited to now be a Music Together teacher and share her love of music with your family.

photo Ashli Gilles

Ashli graduated from Bradley University with a degree in Radio/Television Communications. Until this past January, she worked for the American Red Cross in Blood Services, but left to pursue her greatest role yet – being a Mom! Jackson was born on October 6, 2010 and life has never been the same. He’s growing so fast and really enjoying Music Together. “I could have never imagined Jackson taking to music like he has at such a young age. His sweet reactions to the songs are proof that it’s never to early to introduce the gift of music to your children.” Her love for children combined with her passion for music has led her down a teaching path and she couldn’t be more excited. Ashli lives with her husband Joe, son Jackson and two Jack Russell Terriers in East Peoria.
